Personal Info
I am passionate about data, teaching, and learning. In 2020, I graduated from College Heights Secondary School as the valedictorian. Later that year, I began my undergraduate degree at the University of Northern British Columbia. Just over three years later, I graduated in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I held an off-campus part-time job for nearly three years and worked for over two years as a research assistant software engineer at the UNBC BIRG Lab. I also taught labs and tutorials for CPSC 101, worked as a student assistant in course development, and volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern British Columbia. I completed my degree in 3.5 years with a 4.14 GPA. After graduation, I worked as a substitute teacher with SD57 for six months, then joined Northern Health in April 2024 as an ATA on the reporting team. At Northern Health, I have gained experience with ETL pipelines, query optimization, and other data engineering-related work. In 2025, I completed my Microsoft DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate) and DP-700 (Fabric Data Engineer Associate) certifications. I am looking forward to continuing my work at Northern Health while furthering my education and expertise.
